Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other amenities to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when handling linens, cleaning equipment, or furniture to maintain operational flow.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during cleaning procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Follow established janitorial and commercial cleaning protocols to deliver consistent quality across all assigned areas.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain room quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality environments is advantageous for understanding industry standards.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture.
- Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning activities.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
