Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently.
• Install new appliances and mechanical systems with precision, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct HVAC & appliance technology repairs including air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, service logs, and repair documentation for all equipment serviced or installed.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and contribute to ongoing training initiatives.

Experience

• Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams effectively.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within commercial or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance including ovens, dishwashers, fryers, and other commercial appliances.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and safety awareness in fast-paced settings.
