We are currently exploring candidates for our hotel maintenance department and are looking to connect with experienced, dependable individuals who take pride in keeping a property running smoothly.
This opportunity may be a great fit for an experienced Maintenance Technician, as well as someone with hotel maintenance leadership or supervisory experience who is interested in future growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance experience required; hotel experience strongly preferred
- General knowledge of HVAC/PTAC units, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and basic repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete preventative maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable responding to occasional after-hours maintenance needs
- Able to communicate well with hotel leadership and other departments
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Responsibilities May Include
- Completing guest room and public-area maintenance requests
- Preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and guest rooms
- Troubleshooting PTAC, plumbing, electrical, and other property issues
- Maintaining the pool, fitness center, mechanical areas, and exterior of the property
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
- Working with vendors when necessary
- Assisting with renovation and property improvement projects
- Helping prioritize and coordinate maintenance needs throughout the hotel
Leadership Opportunities
Candidates with strong hotel maintenance experience, leadership skills, and the ability to organize and guide a maintenance team may also be considered for additional responsibilities or future leadership opportunities within the department.
