Housekeeping

Hours: Full Time / Part Time

Shifts: Day

Open Interviews: Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 800 E. US Hwy 74 Business Rockingham NC 28379

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Inspect and clean all areas of the hotel up to standards.

• Assists with moving heavy items, such as mattresses and soiled linens.
• Transport necessary supplies to and from various areas of the hotel.
• Washing and folding all items that require laundering.
• Stock and replenish housekeeping carts and storage closets.
• Responds to guest requests in a friendly and prompt manner.
• Protect guest privacy, do not ever let someone into a guestroom.
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Must be hardworking and detail oriented.
• Perform any tasks required by the hotel General Manager

Requirements:

• Prior experience preferred but not required
• United States work authorization is required
• High school or higher education preferred
• No criminal background and no drug use
• Must be able to provide references
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Perform other duties as required.

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 75 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
