Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, handling laundry duties, and ensuring proper waste disposal
- Conduct floor care activities such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying protective treatments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
- Manage residential or commercial cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and cleanliness guidelines
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating schedules
- Ensure all cleaning tools and materials are well-maintained and stored properly for optimal use
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or residential cleaning is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with laundry processes and stain removal techniques
- Experience with carpet cleaning methods and janitorial responsibilities is advantageous
- Prior experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning environments is a plus
