Evening Houseperson

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist housekeeping by removing dirty linens and trash from rooms.
• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the hospitality sector.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
