About the Role
Holiday Inn Express Watertown is expanding our front desk team to ensure reliable coverage across our weekend and evening shifts. This part-time position includes weekend and evening responsibilities, where you’ll be the steady presence that keeps operations running smoothly and ensures guests feel welcome.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in, check-out, and reservations
- Handle guest inquiries and escalations with professionalism and empathy
- Monitor activity and ensure guest safety during weekend and evening hours
- Handle light cash drawer transactions for our on-site market
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and lobby area
- Light laundry - folding towels and pillow-cases as time allows
Qualifications
- No hotel experience? No problem. If you have solid customer service skills and you’ve worked in fast-paced customer service positions (server, barista, bartender, retail, etc.), we’ll train you in the hotel side of things
- Flexibility to work weekend and evening shifts, plus holidays as needed
- Strong people, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to help
- Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and team-focused
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with us
Position Details
- Status: Part-Time / Could Be Full Time With the Right Availability
- Shifts: Multiple, with emphasis on 4PM–Midnight on weekends and/or weeknights
- Compensation: As noted - additional consideration given for availability and experience
- Location: Holiday Inn Express Watertown, Watertown, SD
