We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role ensures the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial records. Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions and ensure accuracy in property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA.
- Prepare and review daily reports, including revenue summaries, guest accounts, and incident logs.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours, providing friendly and professional service.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures.
- Balance cash drawers, process adjustments, and ensure all financial data is accurately recorded for the next day’s operations.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff, management, and emergency responders as needed to uphold guest safety and satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for client interaction via phone or in person.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security.
