Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems using schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical circuits, mechanical equipment, and plumbing fixtures to minimize downtime.
- Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the property.
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects including repairs, upgrades, and renovations while supervising team members or contractors when required.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using CMMS software; document work orders, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to diagnose electrical problems effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations by adhering to proper procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to facility issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment; supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately for effective repairs.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination with team members and vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise maintenance staff or contractors efficiently.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial systems is a plus but not required.
