Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist in special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as directed by housekeeping management.
Skills
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Experience in floor care methods including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning standards is a plus.
- Strong custodial experience with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under minimal supervision.
