Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services within a hotel or similar environment. Weekends are required for this position.

Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to established guidelines to ensure proper cleaning of items.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and guest clothing.
- Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Handle dry cleaning processes for garments as required.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
