Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring that all areas are sanitized and welcoming for guests and staff. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as needed, maintaining freshness and hygiene.
- Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, making beds, hallway vacuming and carpet cleaning to uphold a pristine environment.
- MUST be able to work as team.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas according to established protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Required, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and supply lien to second floor by taking it everyday and stock it and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- knowledge of knowing hotel policies for housekeeping tasks, follow promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement or additional cleaning.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
