Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as necessary
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns professionally

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and practices
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
