Duties
- Greet and assist guests during late-night hours with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out
- Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including cash, credit card payments, and room charges, accurately maintaining audit reports
- Manage front desk operations using multi-line phone systems, handling guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with courteous phone etiquette
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts to verify accuracy of billing, reservations, and occupancy data
- Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and financial summaries for management review
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or issues with a focus on guest relations and resolution strategies
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance and ensuring the safety of guests and staff during overnight hours
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
- Excellent customer service skills combined with bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Proficiency in hotel management software and multi-line phone systems to coordinate front desk activities efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction with guests and team members
- Experience in night audit procedures, front desk operations, and hotel experience preferred
