We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, switches, wiring, and plumbing systems.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify automated systems.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Supervise or assist in supervising maintenance staff or contractors when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, facilities maintenance, and residential painting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding automation systems.
- Welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks.
- Experience with CMMS for work order management and record keeping.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Facilities maintenance experience including plumbing, HVAC, or general building repairs is a plus.
- Supervising or leadership experience demonstrating team management capabilities is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across departments.
