Full time (40 hrs/wk, 2pm – 10:30pm, schedule will include weekend and holiday rotation and may require some shift rotation)
Performs a variety of general maintenance duties in and around the hospital facilities, including routine standard servicing and repair operations to maintain hospital buildings, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds in proper condition. Performs general construction duties as needed for repair or rehabilitation of all hospital owned properties. Carries out tasks within capabilities involving a variety of maintenance crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, machinery.
Expected pay for this position is $19.27 – $23.14 per hour. Actual rate will be determined by multiple factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly non-exempt position.
Qualifications/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent education (GED)
- Current driver’s license with driving record in good standing
- Working knowledge of mechanics and Building Trades preferred
- Previous experience in general maintenance and carpentry work, minor plumbing and electricity helpful
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to lift 75 lbs. or more repetitively. May be exposed to prolonged standing, walking, squatting, bending. Exposure to cold and warm weather conditions. Exposure to chemicals used in cleaning agents.
