Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a high standard of sanitation and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are valued. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for clients and guests alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, and carpet cleaning as needed
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met according to health and safety guidelines
• Assist with kitchen duties including basic cooking tasks when required
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction
• Manage custodial tasks such as waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Follow established cleaning protocols for hotel or hospitality environments if applicable
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working efficiently within designated timeframes

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in residential or commercial cleaning highly desirable
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures is advantageous
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or housecleaning management is a plus
• Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment operation is beneficial
• Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
• Prior work in hospitality or related fields such as hotel housekeeping enhances suitability for this role
