Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and dry cleaning of linens and clothing items
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry facilities and ensure proper handling of delicate or specialty fabrics
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly
- Follow established procedures for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and laundry products
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of laundry processes including washing cycles, drying techniques, and dry cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
