What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor/GSR position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
Areya Hospitality Management, a well-established and innovative firm who owns and operates hotels in South Central PA, is now seeking a part-time Night Auditor (11pm to 7am) at our Holiday Inn Expresss Shippensburg.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Minor accounting, reconciliations, change of business date, balance transactions within the front desk computer system (65%).
Pre-register, block reservations and take same day reservations and, when necessary, future reservations following hotel rate structures, discounts and sell strategies (5%).
Handle guest check ins/check outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner (5%).
Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, safety deposit boxes, etc. (15%).
Cancel room reservations according to procedures (4%).
Perform other duties as directed.
HOURS: Primarily evening (11pm-7am) including a certain amount of weekends and holidays regularly throughout the year as needed. If this seems like a position you’re best suited for, then we eagerly look forward to hearing from you!
