Overview
We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead the Holiday Inn Express & Suites near the Georgia National Fairgrounds. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-paced, event-driven market. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can drive guest satisfaction, team performance, and strong financial results.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all day-to-day hotel operations (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast)
- Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain strong online review scores
- Drive revenue, occupancy, and profitability through effective leadership and decision-making
- Manage budgets, labor, and expenses to meet financial goals
- Ensure full compliance with IHG brand standards and QA requirements
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Partner with sales efforts to capture business from local events and corporate accounts
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of hotel leadership experience (GM or Assistant GM preferred)
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and financials
- Proven ability to lead teams and hold staff accountable
- Hands-on leadership style — not a desk-only manager
- Experience with IHG brands preferred
- Familiarity with systems such as Opera/Concerto, OTA platforms, and payroll systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
