Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring their needs are met with a positive attitude.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with guest relations by resolving issues efficiently and courteously to foster guest satisfaction.
- Support hotel operations by coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Uphold security protocols at the front desk, controlling access for visitors and contractors while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and multi-line phone systems enhances your candidacy.
- Knowledge of resort or hotel environments, including familiarity with hospitality management software, is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
