Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team as the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with any inquiries or concerns
- Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently
- Process room assignments and coordinate room keys
- Handle guest requests and complaints, resolving issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Utilize hotel phone systems to answer guest calls and take messages
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports for Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth operation
- Provide exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of hotel policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset but not required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Hospitality management or guest services experience is a plus
