Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all surfaces and utensils are hygienic and compliant with health regulations
- Assist with food handling, including portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet or serving stations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming trays
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Support food preparation tasks like chopping, assembling ingredients, or setting up catering or banquet events as needed
Skills
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace with care and precision
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and food industry standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory levels
- Knowledge of wine, bartending, or barista experience is a plus for enhancing guest experience
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous for supporting special events
