Job Summary
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pikeville is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Breakfast Attendant to help provide our guests with a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable breakfast experience.
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast area, keeping food and supplies stocked, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area each morning
- Prepare and replenish breakfast food and beverages as needed
- Keep all food items properly stocked and presented
- Monitor food levels and notify management when supplies are running low
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized breakfast area throughout the breakfast period
- Clean tables, counters, equipment, floors, and other breakfast area surfaces
- Remove trash and keep trash areas clean
- Wash dishes and utensils as needed
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Check food temperatures and follow hotel food-handling guidelines
- Assist guests with questions and provide friendly, professional service
- Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests
- Clean and organize the breakfast area after service
- Restock supplies and prepare the area for the following day
- Report maintenance issues, equipment problems, or other concerns to management
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
