Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during the breakfast service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and possess strong customer service skills, ensuring that all guests enjoy a delightful dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with food preparation, including cooking and meal assembly, adhering to food safety standards.
• Serve breakfast items to guests, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces after use.
• Operate POS systems for cash handling and transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain inventory levels.
• Uphold high standards of food presentation and quality, ensuring all items meet guest expectations.
• Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience, providing information about menu items and hotel services.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, including roles such as host/host, server, or barista.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests are crucial for success in this role.
