Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Cook various breakfast dishes, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service hours.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Manage the Aloha POS system for tracking guest orders and payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations.
- Assist with meal preparation for banquets or special events as needed.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are important for interacting with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
