Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
• Restock food and beverage items as needed throughout the service period, monitoring inventory levels.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit, assembling breakfast plates, or handling simple cooking duties under supervision.
• Clear and buss tables efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, dishwashing, and sanitation procedures to uphold food safety standards.
• Ensure smooth guest flow by providing friendly assistance with seating arrangements and answering basic questions about breakfast offerings.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person using professional communication skills and proper phone etiquette.
• Support overall hotel cleanliness by assisting with light housekeeping duties in public areas when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Basic kitchen skills including food handling, meal preparation, and knife skills are advantageous.
• Experience in hospitality roles like host/hostess or banquet setup enhances your ability to deliver excellent guest service.
