Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and general inquiries using friendly, professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems
- Manage guest reservations, room assignments, and billing processes efficiently to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, reservations, and occupancy records to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies
- Handle guest requests promptly, including providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and special services
- Maintain a secure environment by monitoring CCTV surveillance and conducting routine safety inspections during overnight hours
- Respond to emergency situations or guest concerns with calm professionalism and coordinate with appropriate hotel departments or emergency services as needed
- Document all activities through detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure accountability and transparency
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a focus on customer service excellence
- Familiarity with night audit procedures within a hotel or resort setting is highly preferred
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse guests effectively
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, reservation software, and multi-line phone systems
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on guest relations and phone etiquette
