Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene across all areas by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces pristine
- Assist with kitchen-related tasks including basic cooking support when needed and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
- Follow established safety protocols and janitorial procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques including floor care and carpet cleaning
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies
- Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
