Experience & Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant; experience working in a bar is preferred.
- Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
- Available for Bar Prep shift on Sunday morning from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Available for an evening Barback shift on Wednesday evenings 3:00 pm - midnight
- Will need a valid Food Handler Certification for this role.
- Experience with an espresso machine, cutting fruit, juicing, dating, labeling and rotating
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and stooping.
- Set up two bars and any other stations before the start of service.
- Ensure all mise en place and supplies are stocked in each station, as necessary.
- Prepare all beverages (including syrups, batches, and others) according to the Hogsalt Beverage Index.
- Receive all beverage-related products from vendors; organize and unpack all beverage orders.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all bars and storage areas; assist in weekly upkeep.
- Communicate any order issues (shorted products, vendor issues, products not up to standard, etc.) with leadership.
- Work with the beverage leader to assist with projects, including re-organization and deep cleaning, to ensure the program and spaces run efficiently.
- Complete all closing duties including closing sidework, general cleaning projects, and any additional tasks assigned by leadership.
- Ensure all Hogsalt Steps Of Service not listed above are properly executed.
