Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Dispatcher to coordinate daily technician schedules, prioritize service calls, and ensure smooth communication between the office, field technicians, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch HVAC, electrical, and plumbing technicians efficiently and accurately
Prioritize and schedule service calls based on urgency and technician location
Maintain real-time communication with technicians and update customers on job status
Handle after-hours and emergency call coordination during the closing shift
Accurately document service calls, job details, and technician progress
Collaborate with parts vendors as needed for technician support
Required Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (4 days during the week)
Saturdays
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
At least 2 years of dispatching or scheduling experience preferred
Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with dispatching software and Microsoft Office
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical service environment is a plus
Dependable and able to remain calm in high-pressure situations
