We are hiring an Insurance Sales Agent to work directly with HOA boards, property managers, and unit owners to design and place appropriate insurance coverage. This is a consultative sales role involving complex accounts and multi-stakeholder decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a pipeline of HOA and condominium association clients
- Conduct outreach through referrals, partnerships, and direct prospecting
- Lead client meetings with HOA boards, trustees, and property managers
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through binding
- Review existing insurance programs and identify coverage gaps
- Explain policy structures including property, liability, D&O, and HO-6 coverage
- Present clear, structured insurance proposals aligned with client needs
- Gather underwriting data and coordinate with carriers
- Prepare and deliver proposals
- Support renewals and maintain ongoing client relationships
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- 2 years of sales experience (insurance, real estate, or related field preferred)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and follow through on details
Preferred:
- Experience with commercial or HOA insurance
- Familiarity working with property managers or real estate professionals
Compensation:
- Base salary: $45,000 – $65,000, depending on experience
- Commission structure tied to new business production
- Total compensation increases with performance
