Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure high-quality results that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in multiple painting techniques, and contribute to the revitalization of buildings and structures.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific application instructions
- Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, drywall patching, and restoration work to ensure smooth finishes
- Execute various types of painting projects including residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, industrial painting, and renovation projects
- Install fixtures such as trim carpentry, moldings, baseboards, and other decorative or functional elements
- Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion
