Respond to high level provider inquiries and provide research and analytical support to the Provider Operations area. This includes the Research and Correspondence and Field units. Communicates issue resolution directly with providers through written correspondence, email or phone. This is a position that requires a high level of concentration and gives the employee the opportunity to research and learn about many different types of inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree and one year of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- Research problems and concerns from providers to respond to claims, policy and reimbursement issues in a timely and accurate manner. Proactively resolve problems to ensure necessary compliance and build trust and strong business relationships with all providers via phone, email or written correspondence.
- Track and resolve high level correspondence/complaints in an accurate and timely manner.
- Analyze and report trends associated with research findings. Identify chronic, inefficient patterns or behaviors.
- Participate in special department projects.
- Undertake provider education related activities and projects with providers to build positive and collaborative relationships which includes updates on the Provider Resource Center portal
- Perform all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
