Job Summary: Post Trade is responsible for maintaining the orderly, fair and expeditious clearing and settlement arrangements for the securities, on exchange derivatives and OTC derivatives markets. Depository & Participant Services provides central securities depository, custody and participant services of stocks and structured products. The team also provides hotline and training services to investors and clearing participants. Job Duties: Responsibilities: Oversee and support daily depository & counter operations in accordance with established rules, procedures and policies of the clearing houses Daily operations include but not limited to physical certificates handling, provide counter service, daily reconciliation, generating MIS reports for management’s review Propose appropriate operational flow changes to enhance day-to-day operational efficiency Support various automation and process reengineering initiatives to eliminate manual and redundant tasks Undertake additional projects and ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager, contributing to team objectives and organizational priorities with agility and accountability. Identify exceptional cases / contingency situations and escalate to management Requirements: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines Knowledge of clearing / settlement / nominees/custodial operations in Hong Kong and Global markets At least 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organization. Proven client service experience, including direct client interaction, issue resolution, and service delivery in a professional and timely manner Demonstrated proactivity, adaptability, innovation, and ability to manage multiple tasks, excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Intellectual curiosity to investigate underlying causes and implications of issues Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese Word Processing Proficiency in Macros and VBA is an advantage HKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
