Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is critical to maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components on industrial machinery, including PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, counters, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical wiring issues to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
- Perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and prevent future failures.
- Identify, report, and correct safety hazards in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records using company software.
- Manage and monitor maintenance inventory, parts usage, and material needs.
- Support facility maintenance needs as required, including basic plumbing and HVAC tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; experience with PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs) strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, trade school, or certifications are a plus.

Pay: $27.00 - $37.00 per hour
