The role
This is a senior leadership position for someone who can wear multiple hats with confidence. You'll be the architect of our social strategy across client accounts, the standard-setter for our creative output, and the leader who grows and empowers a team of strategists, social managers and content creators. You'll work directly alongside Hitch leadership and have real ownership over the social direction of the brands we serve.
What you'll do
— Lead, coach, and grow a team of strategists, social managers, and content creators
— Own strategy and execution across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts for multiple brand accounts
— Build scalable systems and workflows that allow our social team to operate efficiently and consistently
— Partner with leadership to establish social budgets and set creative direction per brand
— Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments — and translate that into action fast
— Develop brand-building creative worlds that give each account a distinct identity and loyal, growing audience
— Drive viral content creation and engagement while maintaining an elevated aesthetic vision and immaculate taste
— Pitch and present social strategies and creative concepts to internal stakeholders with clarity and charisma
What we're looking for
— Proven experience growing a social brand at scale across TikTok, Instagram, and/or YouTube Shorts
— A natural leader with the systems-thinking to scale a team and the charisma to inspire one
— Expert-level understanding of platform trends, app updates, and what makes content travel
— Impeccable taste — a sharp eye for design, visual storytelling, and what's culturally resonant right now
— Strong presentation and pitching skills; you can sell a creative vision in a room and get people fired up
— Experience managing and mentoring other social managers or content creators
— Still an active, skilled content creator yourself — not just a strategist from the sidelines
Nice to have
— Experience at a creative or social agency managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
— Familiarity with AI-assisted content workflows and tools
Compensation
Salaried, full-time position. Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience.
