Essential Functions
- Set up private events based upon the instructions of the manager
- Follow all service standards in maintaining our high level of guest service
- Breakdown of all areas and proper storage of all equipment
- Understand and follow through with all policies and procedures of the special events and live demonstration department and the Key West Cooking School organization
- Work as a team with all other servers and staff
- Ability to work independently over long periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to display a positive, energetic, and outwardly friendly attitude towards guests.
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
- Demonstrate a high level or organization skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Two plus years of high-volume serving experience is required.
- A food safety certification program is required to be completed before being able to serve food or alcohol, which may include a food handler card.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
- Have a passion for helping people and make their Key West experience a memorable one.
- Maintain necessary mandated food and drink certifications.
