- Must be able to perform in a prohibition speakeasy character
- Make drinks to spec recipe and serve food
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge on all spirits and mixers, such as soft drinks, juices, syrups, and bitters.
- Have knowledge in Prohibition Era spirits and history of various drink, ingredients, and mixing methods and be able to explain knowledge to guests
- Answer guest questions accurately and politely
- Make proficient sales transactions using the point-of-sale system. Handle cash and other forms of payment. Maintain proper cash drawer balance.
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as a team member within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowlege of principles and methods for promoting and selling products and services
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and other entities.
- Must be 21 years old
- Experience in a full-service restaurant and/or bar
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
- Valid Bar Card or equivalent
- Valid Bar Smart certification
- Have a passion for helping people and make their Savannah experience a memorable one.
