- Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
- Verify all orders for accuracy, presentation, and quality before serving to the guests.
- Organize and prioritize food tickets during high-volume service periods.
- Ensure proper garnishing, plating, and all orders adhere to restaurant standards.
- Monitor ticket times, work with kitchen staff to maintain efficient service flow.
- Ability to work independently over long periods of time and in groups within the scope of established rules and regulations
- Ability to display a positive, energetic, and outwardly friendly attitude towards guests and co-workers.
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
- Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant culinary operations.
- A food handling certification program is required to be completed before working in the kitchen.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing.
- Have a passion for helping people and making their Savannah experience a memorable one.
- Maintain necessary mandated food and drink certifications.
