The Controller Transformation (CT) group is looking for a dynamic individual to help shape the future of the Finance organization. As part of Citi Finance's transformation program, controller transformation group is leading Finance's efforts to provide accurate information of the highest quality to our customers, shareholders and regulators. CT processes are comprised of those sets of activities that begin with defining and establishing appropriate data standards and ensuring readiness for consumers, standardizing the accounting and processing of transactions to financial systems, implementing a comprehensive set of integrated financial closing processes, which then culminates with instituting common and optimized financial / regulatory reporting processes.
The person in this role is responsible for leading the overall administrative activities of the function including coordinating and managing activities such as tracking of objectives and key results, financial processes, executive presentations, team culture and communications and helping drive the change agenda for the build-out of the function. In addition, the role will manage ad-hoc projects as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as communications lead on strategy development and execution for internal business messaging
- Assist leadership/Chief of Staff in promoting and executing communications program
- Participate in Working Group to promote Voice of the Employee (VOE) communications, including buddy program and any other programs that the VOE launch
- Leverage technology and tools to enable communications
- Manage and track CT's objectives and key results
- Prepare and coordinate Quarterly Townhalls, including preparation of senior level presentations
- Lead in publishing Controllership Newsletter on a quarterly basis
- Participate and support ad-hoc projects as necessary across the team
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience, within Finance, Transformation or related field, in the financial services industry preferred
- Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills coupled with an ability to build a broad base of support among key decision makers at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated success in collaborating and building relationships and influencing across the organization
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. Master's degree a plus.
