Job Description:
Owns the full end-to-end data migration strategy for Guidewire programs including discovery profiling mapping transformation validation reconciliation mock runs and production cutover Leads data mapping across legacy systems to the Guidewire data model ensuring accuracy consistency and alignment with product configuration and PC domain requirements Defines tooling strategy across Guidewire DMFIDMF ETLELT platforms and AWS native data services such as Glue Lambda Step Functions S3 EMR and DynamoDB Provides technical direction for building scalable secure and high-performance data pipelines in AWS to support large volume policy billing and claims migrations Oversees performance engineering for migration workloads including throughput optimization parallelization strategies indexing partitioning and Guidewire batch performance tuning Guides teams on transformation logic data quality rules exception handling error remediation and reconciliation frameworks Leads all mock migrations cutover planning dress rehearsals and execution activities ensuring data completeness accuracy and readiness for go live Acts as the primary expert for Guidewire data model DMF processing patterns GOSU based loaders and integration touch points Ensures compliance with enterprise data governance regulatory requirements audit standards security policies and cloud architecture best practices Partners closely with business SMEs functional leads data engineers and program leadership to define requirements and resolve data related issues Provides leadership to onshore offshore teams performing design reviews code reviews and architecture oversight to ensure consistency and quality Serves as the senior advisor for AWS cloud architecture within the migration domain including IAM VPC networking encryption monitoring and cost optimization Skills Guidewire Claim Center Cloud Experience At least one full CC Cloud migration not on Prem only Knowledge of Claim Center financial model Handling historic data transactional data Public ID preservation strategies Ability to work in discovery heavy tasks Data migration ETL Strong SQL complex extract process experience PySpark Glue ETL jobs Data profiling and validation Cloud data migration AWS Glue S3 Step Functions RDS Aurora Postgres Experience migrating AWS cloud Leading Migration testing Reconciliation Business validation support Knowledge of working with internal and 3rd party integrations Process Tools Agile experience in a SAFe delivery framework Structured code reviews Experience using Azure ADO Use of AI tools to increase speed of migration work Recommended use of other tools the team has found useful in previous engagements Nice to Have Differentiators Prior experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform GWCP tenants Automation of reconciliation dashboards Experience with largescale claims volumes
