Retail Store Experiential Designer

Position: Senior Designer - Retail Store Experiential Designer

Duration: 4 months contract

Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid Schedule-Fridays remote)

Team details & who they will work with: Under the direction of a Design Director, you will develop and realize innovative, original retail environments, displays and digital solutions for retail stores. You will collaborate with internal and external design teams to complete multiple projects by using design processes and practices to ensure the creative intent, design results, timelines and budgets are met. You will partner with the Architecture, Storytelling design and Geo retail design partners to bring retail design excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Minimum required years of experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive, technically sophisticated design experience in architectural, experiential or brand design and a demonstrated ability to apply these skills in ways that elevate brand excellence.

Education requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, industrial, or environmental design, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.

Must have skills: (must have Portfolio available for team)

Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote.

Showed strength in managing a design project or studio in the delivery of progressively complex projects of scale, budget, and size.

Nice to have skills:

After Effects, Premiere, Miro, Figma, SketchUp and Unreal Engine

Software/technical requirements:

Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote.

Previous industry experience preference: Experience would be a major plus but not required but retail industry experience, retail environments, concepts, and programs will be considered a must need.
