The Project Controls Specialist III will serve as a skilled scheduler responsible for creating and maintaining project lifecycle schedules across multiple renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery energy storage systems) and potentially thermal projects. This role requires strong knowledge of project management practices and the ability to collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure timely updates and accurate scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for entire project lifecycles.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including large-scale capital projects.
- Collaborate with PMs and departments (land rights, permitting, engineering, supply chain) to gather updates.
- Ensure schedules reflect accurate progress and dependencies across entities.
- Submit sample P6 schedule (PDF, redacted) as part of candidate evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of scheduling experience with large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6 certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience creating, updating, and modifying schedules.
- Ability to manage multi-million to billion-dollar projects and complex scopes.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
- Industrial or construction scheduling background.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
