Role: Materials Development 3 / Footwear Materials Developer
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)
Contract 8 Months Through February 2027
We are seeking an experienced Materials Development professional to support footwear product creation from concept through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Drive material development and sourcing activities
✔ Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
✔ Partner with material vendors and manufacturers to deliver innovative solutions
✔ Ensure projects meet quality, cost, sustainability, and timeline objectives
✔ Support commercialization and manufacturing readiness
Required Qualifications:
✅ 6 years of experience in Materials Development, Product Development, or Product Creation
✅ Experience with footwear materials and product creation processes preferred
✅ Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration skills
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
✅ Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
⭐ Experience working with material suppliers or manufacturers
⭐ Footwear product development experience
⭐ Material testing and commercialization experience
