The E&C Engineer III provides mechanical and electrical engineering expertise for thermal generation projects, including natural gas power plants. The E&C Engineer III provides mechanical and electrical engineering expertise for thermal generation projects, including natural gas power plants. This role encompasses system design, construction oversight, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. The engineer collaborates with EPC teams and construction managers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical and electrical engineering support for natural gas and thermal generation projects.
- Design, oversee, and support power plant construction activities.
- Evaluate system performance, component reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with EPC teams and construction personnel to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits, troubleshooting, and oversight for operational and construction efficiency.
- Self-managed, detail-oriented, and experienced in power generation environments (especially combustion turbine plants).
- Familiarity with construction sites and operations.
- Instrumentation and controls experience (especially for electrical engineers) is a plus.
- Background with power plant design/construction, owner/operator, or EPC firms preferred.
- Team: Project engineers, senior engineers, project managers, and construction managers.

- Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM (construction sites may require early starts); occasional overtime or Saturday work may be required.
