What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Loan Officer position at HIRESIGMA?
What you will be doing:
- Solicit commercial clients; aggressively seek and obtain quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts.
- Obtain and maintain Centers of Influence (COIs) and attend various networking events in the assigned geographic area.
- Utilize skills and experience in loan structuring and credit analysis.
- Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans.
- Close loans typically in the $250,000 to $10 million range.
- Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or other related field is preferred.
- Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Typically a minimum of 3 years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships.
- Familiarity with the sales, loan processing, and closing processes.
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services including working knowledge of Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), as well as Owner-Occupied and Investment Commercial Real Estate loans.
- Proven track record of business development.
