HirePower is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll make a meaningful difference by helping patients regain independence, improve daily function, and enhance their quality of life. You’ll collaborate with caregivers, provide education, and recommend adaptive equipment to support recovery and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy programs to restore maximal function, adjusting methods as needed.
- Document patient progress in compliance with medical, legal, and reimbursement standards.
- Educate and train rehabilitation staff, nursing teams, and students.
- Contribute to process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, and program development.
- Stay current with continuing education and apply new skills across diverse patient populations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1–3 years of clinical OT experience in hospital, SNF, or home care settings.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred).
Licenses/Certifications:
- Michigan OT license (required)
- OTR certification (required)
- Valid Michigan driver’s license (for home care)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC, within 90 days of hire)
- CHT certification (preferred)
