What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Operations position at hireneXus?
About The Company
We are partnering with a private equity–backed field services platform to recruit a Vice President of Operations for one of its core operating businesses—a market-leading, multi-service field services company based in New York City. The platform is actively acquiring and scaling field service businesses, and this role sits at the center of that growth strategy.
The operating business is a scaled, multi-service field services company with approximately 75 employees, 40 radio-dispatched service vehicles, and a customer base of roughly 900 commercial accounts across all five NYC boroughs.
The Opportunity
The platform is seeking a hands-on operational leader to own the day-to-day performance of this business—credible with technicians, sharp on data, and relentless about improving execution. You will have full ownership of field operations, workforce performance, technology modernization, customer service delivery, and financial efficiency across the company’s NYC footprint.
This is a high-visibility role with real authority and a direct line to platform leadership. The right candidate will not only run a well-established operation but help shape what it becomes as the platform scales.
