Vice President – Ancillary Services
A leading, physician-centric specialty medical group is seeking a Vice President of Ancillary Services to drive the strategy, growth, and performance of key service lines across a large, multi-state platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this executive will lead the expansion and optimization of ancillary offerings including audiology, allergy, and other emerging service lines.
This is a newly created, highly visible role designed to accelerate growth and increase the contribution of ancillary services as a core driver of enterprise value.
The Opportunity
Ancillary services are deeply embedded within the organization’s existing ENT footprint, creating a unique opportunity to unlock significant organic growth across an established base of providers, patients, and locations.
The organization has a clear mandate to meaningfully increase the contribution of ancillary revenue, with the VP playing a central role in building and executing the strategy to achieve that goal.

Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Value Creation
- Design and implement a scalable roadmap to expand audiology, allergy, and other ancillary service lines.
- Identify and lead new growth initiatives, including de novo site development and new service offerings.
- Drive EBITDA expansion by improving utilization, optimizing service mix, and leveraging operational efficiencies.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators aligned with growth, profitability, and return on investment.
Operational Excellence & Scalability
- Standardize ancillary operations across a multi-location platform to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Introduce best-in-class practices across workflows, productivity, and performance management.
- Enhance patient access, scheduling efficiency, and throughput to maximize capacity.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to align staffing strategies with growth priorities.
Financial Management
- Maintain full P&L accountability for ancillary service lines.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial performance analysis.
- Use data-driven insights to uncover opportunities and lead improvement initiatives.
- Implement cost-efficiency measures while upholding high standards of patient care.
Physician & Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster strong partnerships with physicians to increase adoption and utilization of ancillary services.
- Work closely with executive leadership and private equity partners on strategic planning and performance tracking.
- Act as a central point of coordination across clinical, operational, and corporate teams.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop both clinical and operational leaders within audiology and allergy services.
- Build a results-oriented, high-performing team equipped to support rapid expansion.
- Drive recruitment and talent development efforts as the organization scales.
M&A Integration & Expansion
- Support the integration of ancillary services into newly acquired practices.
- Evaluate existing capabilities and implement standardized operating frameworks.
- Identify and realize synergies to accelerate value creation following acquisitions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare services.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling service lines in multi-site or high-growth settings.
- Strong financial and operational expertise, including direct P&L responsibility.
- Proven ability to drive growth through both organic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Capable of working independently while influencing physician stakeholders and leading organizational change.
- Experience with de novo development and/or M&A integration is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree preferred.
